This book is a great book for cricket lovers.

I really like this book from David Hill. My favorite part was when the seconds got into the regional finals. In an inspiring book about friendship trust and sportsmanship

I would recommend this book to the age of 10+

Thanks David Hill

This is a great book I really enjoyed it. This tells you about the life of Roald Dahl. Inclueding the Disasters with the movies and the Script writing for James Bond movie.
He has such an awesome life.

I enjoyed this book because Roald Dahl is one of my favourite authors. I found out some information about Roald Dahl that I didn’t know.
I really recommended that if you enjoy Roald Dahl’s books, read this book.

I visited the house of Robert L Stevenson

Non Fiction 3 Comments »

This is such a famous book and now I have visited the most popular museum dedicated to the author outside of Scotland. Robbie L Stevenson spent the last five years of his life in Samoa, he had already written many of the books that made him famous but continued to write prolifically. Aprroximately 1 book every 3 months, quite a feat considering they were written by hand in a hot tropical climate.

His mansion in Samoa has now been turned into a museum by an admirer of his works. We visited the museum at Vailima as part of a full day your of Upulo the main island of Samoa. Here they had painstakingly restored the rooms to their former glory after the majority of the house was destroyed by cyclones in 1991 and 1993. I liked the fire places  that had been created to remind them of Scotland – but were never used.

R.L. Stevenson brought his whole family out to Samoa, his step – daughter illustrated many of his works. There are no desendants of his family.

I intend to re-read some of his works including Kidnapped and Dr Jekyell and Mr Hide.

When Poitr’s parents are killed He is sent to an orphanage in Warsaw. Some strange men come and inspect all the boys at the orphanage to see if they are good enough to be a Hitler youth. Poitr gets adopted by an important family, The Kaltenbachs. When the family comes to take him away they change Poitr’s name to Peter. He attends a school in Berlin and he gets a really good education. He makes a friend called Segur. Segur and Peter are about the same age and they attend the Hitler-Jugend at the same time.

Peter is not quite the specimen they think. He is forming his own ideas. Peter doesn’t want to be a Nazi, and so he is going to take a risk. The most dangerous risk he could possibly take in Berlin in 1943.

A true story about a young girl called Debbie Atherton back in 1968.
It’s an adventures story.

At home, sick with her glandular fever, Debbie feels transported back in time.
Is it the fever, or is her long-dead relative trying to tell her something.
Following a trip to visit family, Debbie boards the ferry to return home to Wellington.
It is May 1968. The ferry’s name is wahine…

Most people who have read my stories would absolutely love to read this book
Because they are true, full of adventures, and really enjoying.

These story books are about the deadly tragedies that happened in New Zealand
The age for this book is 10years and up,
Please read and enjoy this book.
